Daniel & Patrik’s Winter Wedding at Puotila Manor — light, snow and presence

Daniel and Patrik chose exactly what felt right for them — not what a wedding is “supposed” to be. A winter evening at Puotila Manor, only their closest people, candlelight beneath old paintings, and the quiet of snow behind the windows.

This wedding reminded me that the size of a celebration isn’t measured by the number of guests, but by the depth of presence. The rings were exchanged in the manor hall, and after that there was time for what matters most: quiet laughter, long conversations around the table, good food and toasts. At the end of the evening we stepped outside into the snow — string lights above the trees, two grooms, and a winter night that seemed to stand still.

I photograph weddings for all couples in love — LGBTQ+ weddings included, and close to my heart. If you’re planning your own celebration, big or small, in a manor or in the middle of a forest, tell me your story. Let’s imagine together what your day could look like.
