Printable Wedding Bingo — Free, in English and Finnish
In recent years, wedding bingo has become a popular part of the reception program — and as a wedding photographer, I completely understand why. It’s a simple game that gets guests watching the celebration with fresh eyes: suddenly every speech, dance and happy tear is a winning square for someone.
How to play wedding bingo
Wedding bingo is based on traditional bingo, but instead of numbers, the grid is filled with wedding-themed pictures and words: the bride, the groom, the wedding dress, flowers, the wedding cake and so on. Each guest gets their own bingo card, and players circle a picture or word on their grid whenever it’s mentioned — in a speech, for example, or during the program.Bingo works especially well in the early part of the reception, when guests have just arrived and are waiting for the newlyweds — it breaks the ice and gives everyone something to talk about right away. The instructions can be printed on a separate sheet or on the back of the bingo card.
Photographer’s tip: place the bingo cards on the tables before the guests arrive. The first half hour of waiting is the quietest moment of the whole celebration — and bingo is the perfect cure for it.

P.S. Have you chosen your wedding photographer yet?
We’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years, in Finland and across Europe — including the moments when someone shouts “BINGO!” in the middle of the father’s speech. If you’re still looking for a photographer, you’re warmly welcome to have a look:
