When the sun is warm, nature is at its most beautiful and the evening light filters softly through the trees, that is the perfect moment to stop time and capture something real.
We met this wonderful family of four in a beautiful park in Espoo. The occasion was special: their youngest was turning one. Outdoor sessions at this age are always a lovely idea. The world is full of wonder when you are one, and having space to move and explore keeps that curiosity alive in the most natural way.
We wanted the session to feel easy, joyful and full of life. No stiff posing, no forced smiles. We let go of any plan and let the children lead the way. What unfolded was everything, an older sister proudly holding her little one’s hand, bare toes on a warm sandy path, tiny discoveries in the shade of flowering rose bushes.
This is exactly where the most precious images are born. The ones where you can almost hear the laughter, feel the summer breeze and sense the deep, quiet connection between a family just being together. When children are free to run on the grass and parents can simply enjoy the moment, the magic happens all on its own.
